Forsaken habla de como la gente focaliza el sanar su miseria y tragedia pidiéndole a Dios o a un ente superior por respuestas y responsabiliza a factores externos por lo que les pasa, siendo que no toman acción por sus propios métodos y deciden rogarle respuestas a un cielo vacío siendo que la respuesta siempre está dentro de uno. La canción enfrenta de manera brutal el hecho de que estamos solos en este mundo y los únicos responsables por nuestro éxito o autodestrucción somos nosotros mismos, ya sea por nuestra acción o la carencia de tal.
