"Forsaken" nace como la idea de enfrentar la dura realidad de que, en momentos de desesperación, nadie nos va a ayudar o salvar más que nosotros mismos. Cómo el humano busca escapar cada vez más de Dios y de si mismo, pero el coro representa ese golpe de realidad que nos recuerda lo imposible que es tratar de escapar de uno mismo, de que no tiene sentido vivir sobreviviendo a duras penas y de que las respuestas que tan desesperadamente buscamos no vienen llorándole a un cielo vacío. Estamos abandonados.
